Jaden’s POV
I had held onto Melina all night. I felt like she would disappear if I were to let her go. Today, we ran the course as a warm-up and then went to work out. We need to be stronger than we were. Cheryl and Anton joined us in their gym. We worked hard before we showered to leave. We had an appointment three hundred miles away and would be gone at least overnight. More likely two days. This would be our first night apart, and I’m not going to lie, I missed her before we even left the pack.
