Romano’s POV I stood under the shadow of a big oak tree in the cemetery, the biting wind cutting through my suit. My gaze was fixed on the people dressed in a complete black, a sea of solemn faces gathered around a casket some feet away. A mournful sigh left my lips, a bitter note for the loss of a useful ally. “So, you are saying that a woman killed him?” I asked, snapping my head to my right-hand man, John, beside me. “That's what we heard, Don.” He answered, his head bowed. A wry, bitter laugh escaped my mouth. The thought of an ordinary woman, killing the Don of the Black Dragon, was laughable.
