“Oliver says that you were working a bit late last night?” Cat looks suspicious.
“Oh, yes, I was double-checking the orders. Something didn’t make sense on the special numbers when I looked at the amounts the first time, but when I worked it out, it was all fine. I just needed to pee and quiet to get it done.” Christa smiles.
“Okay, good. I would hate a repeat of the last time. I’m really fortunate to have you keep such a close eye on the business. I’ve realized that profit is up, so somewhere they must have been taking more than just the bit from the tills.” She sighs sitting down.
