I walk back into the station feeling bone tired.
Cappie “Christa! How is our boy?”
Christa “He will be fine. I left him with Charlie at the academy until he can get back up. He needed stitches, but otherwise, he is fine. I think I got more of a fright than he did.”
Cappie “That’s good to hear. Not about your fright, but that he will be okay. You should go home.”
Christa “No! I’m going back out there. I’ve called Bulldog, and I’m going out with his team.”
Cappie “Well, then I guess there is no better time than the present. Come with me, I have something to show you.”
