I’m not much of a cook, so I took out some chicken wings and some macaroni and cheese. I decided to make honey lemon pepper wings and macaroni and cheese. It took me close to two hours to make everything since the chicken wings had to thaw out. I made my way up to Kamile’s room. She hadn’t moved a muscle from where I had placed her. I put the food on the table before walking to her side.
“Kamile?” I called, gently shaking her.
“Kamile, wake up. You need to have dinner”, I told her. She slowly opens her eyes before looking around.
“Hello sleeping beauty. Come on. I made dinner” I said.
“You did?” she asks and I chuckle.
“I’m no chef, but I did what I could” I said.
“I’m sure it will be good” she said, getting out of the bed.
