It was a fight or flight moment.
He had gone six days without seeing or hearing from Hunter and yet all Zizi wants to do is pull him close and just hug him so tight.
He stands at the door, not sure if he wants to go in or not. Was this why his father said he should listen? Did Hunter take off his ring? Where was Christian? Weren’t they meant to be on their honey moon?
“Won’t you come in?”
It’s his father’s house. He didn’t need Hunter to tell him to come in. He just doesn’t know if he could trust himself not to do something like fall to his knees and cry and plead with Hunter to divorce the son of a b***h he married days ago. Instead of saying anything, Zizi just stepped into the house, shutting the door behind him.
“Martin made you a stir fry.” Hunter said, referring to the butler
