Temperance’s POV I woke up in Hayden’s arms. Disoriented for a moment, I had to remember what had happened, and then it all flooded back to me. “f**k,” I mumbled as Hayden carried me into the dungeon. “Always the loyal soldier, huh, Hayden?” I looked up at my brother’s face. He was wearing a nonexpression. “How does it feel to be carrying your pregnant sister to a cell?” He pursed his lips and said nothing as he laid me on the cot. This cell looked to be set up for long-term occupation. It had a cot with a table and chair and a toilet. Moments later, one of the pack doctors walked in. The doctor glared at my brother. “I thought you were lying when you said I had to examine our injured Luna in the cells.” Hayden
