Two Years Later
"The demon's rise will be the fall of man's reign," I screeched the last line into the microphone as the song ended. I took a deep breath and turned to my bandmates. We were getting ready to go on tour for the first time in two years. We had just released a new album to rave reviews, and today we were getting in our last practice before leaving tomorrow.
