I should be golfing right now. I should be out enjoying my retirement. But instead, I had to become the gamma of Erie Lake pack once again. After my treacherous daughter left the pack on the night of her Luna ceremony things, fell apart. Alpha Gideon was shattered and unable to function, which meant Clifton had to take back his position as alpha. That also meant Beau, and I had to take back our positions as beta and gamma.
Temperance had always been problematic. Even when she was in utero, a seer told us she would cause the destruction of this pack. Madison and I should have aborted her and tried again. But of course, my mate wasn't going to allow one of her pups to die. So now we live with the consequences. Temperance refused to fall in line and left. Left Gideon
