Hanna pov. The door opened and he entered. He was handcuffed and he didn’t look like himself. Is that really him? My Zak? He looked different. He looked as if he never saw light. As if he never was happy. The shine in his eyes was completely gone. His hair was messy and his beard unkempt. The smile I had loved was no more. There was absolutely no life on his face. He kept his eyes on the floor. He didn’t look up. He didn’t even care to see if anyone else was in here. “Zak!” I gasped. My heart broke when I saw him in this state. He didn’t deserve this. I was wrong. I was so utterly wrong. The officer left us alone. But I didn’t know what to say. I didn’t know even if he would want to meet me. I opened my mouth but my voice didn’t co-operate.
