Treasure was still asleep when Qaletaqa dressed the children and took them downstairs for breakfast. Flossie already had Treasure and his food on a tray to take upstairs.
Audrey and her great-grandmother are discussing the wedding. Audrey hugs her father when she mentions him giving her away to the man she loves. Qaletaqa kisses the top of her head and looks at Little Horn. "You and I will ride to the river tonight to talk. We need you four to come to our bedroom when you finish eating."
Little Horns nods and looks at Tatanka. "Did he talk with you before you married Isabell?"
"Yep. The more I think about it, it wasn't a talk. It was a threat." Tatanka scratches his head. "That's what it was."
"Oh," Little Horn looked at Qaletaqa walking out of the room.
