The following morning after breakfast, Treasure is on the porch looking at her children and grandchildren running around the yard. She was thinking back to last night when Valene called Kitty's mother. She’s brought out of her thoughts when two strong arms wrap around her waist. Qaletaqa kissed her neck. “My wife, what have you so deeply in thought so early this morning?"
“Valene called Kitty her mother. It seems that Kitty finally has a family. I’m happy for them.” She turns to look at him and chuckles.
“Our daughter is getting married soon. I just realized that she and Little Horn will also start a family soon.” She touched her stomach.
He looks at her hand and grins. “My wife, are you with child?”
“I believe I am, but I’m not sure. I was planning to see Bena in a few days.” S
