Treasure invited the warriors back to the house for lunch while they told her, her husband, and her father about the three men. While sitting at the table, Richard notices that the men keep staring at his daughter and son because of how they treat one another.
“Thank you for the food. You live differently than we have ever seen before. Did you force your woman to be with you?” Big Beaver points at Treasure.
Richard and Flossie laugh.
"That would be a sight to see," Flossie walked into the kitchen.
Qaletaqa pats his wife's hand. “No, I didn't. I tried to, but she wouldn’t let me. But she did let me take her when I came for her. Treasure is not my woman. She is my wife. We were married by the Reverend."
“You were so handsome, why would I stop you?” Treasure kisses his cheek.
