One month later
I am the luckiest man in the world to be waking up next to her and having her in my arms.
She lay on her side. I slightly curled up behind her. I spoon her, resting my hand under her baby bump, caressing my baby and slightly dragging my fingers under the waistband of her underwear.
Today is actually the day we find out the gender of our baby. It was a long time coming but with all the therapy sessions and us working on getting things back to normal, we thought it best to push it back a little. I accompany her to all her clinical appointment with doctor Andries. No matter how busy I am or what appointment I have I make sure I am there. To see our baby on the monitor developing and changing is remarkable.
