"Mother.....not a word of her pregnancy please, I need to give her family time to adjust to us before I do so," I say to my mother taking her coat. We are standing in the living room of Delsa parents. Delsa announced our arrival, walking upstairs she calls out to her mother.
"I remember your lecture on my way here," mother says between her teeth. "I should hit you upside the head with my purse," she goes on to say as we take our seat on the couch waiting on the in-laws.
"You still not going to tell me what happened between you and father," I ask wanting to know what happened and how he relinquish my keys without a fight. Knowing dad and his stubborn head, I am guessing mom had to pull out the big guns while firing blazing rapid shots.
