After two years
Samantha's POV
It was a bright summer morning and a special one too. It was Ben's thirty fourth birthday. He was not the one to remember his own birthday and even if he did, he wouldn't want to make it a 'big deal' but we had other plans.
I drew the curtains aside, letting more brightness flow into the room.
"Hmmm.." Ben groaned while turning on his tummy and taking cover under his pillow.
"Wake up, sleepy head." I walked near the bed and tugged at the pillow. Finally pulling it away from him, I threw it at the foot of the bed.
