Samantha's POV
I woke up with a start and the first thing my brain could process was the ceaseless sound of water dripping somewhere around me. Both my mind as well as my vision were clouded, not able to comprehend were I was.
I groaned due to the throbbing headache, trying to sit up straight but was stopped abruptly by the metal restraint around both my wrists. As I looked down, I realised, not only my hands were chained but also both my ankles. My mouth was tightly sealed with a tape, making it unable for me to make any sort of noise.
Immediately, the episodes from earlier started playing on my mind.
