I sat staring outside the window of Ben's private jet in fascination as this was the first time I was travelling in a plane. We had left exactly three days after the twins' birthday and I was told we would be staying for a whole week in Paris. The kids were so excited to go on this trip. This was their first trip as a family, well for me as well.
They were fast asleep in one of the small cabins of the jet while I sat next to Ben. I glanced at him, who was talking on his phone simultaneously working on his laptop. He was so involved in the conversation that he did not notice me staring at him. When his eyes fell on me, he hung up the call and pulled me closer to his chest.
