I’m treading water in some giant pool. It isn’t the ocean because there’s no sun or clouds. Just waves flowing around me as I bob searching for a way out. I swim but nothing changes no matter how long I kick my legs. Laying back to float, I close my eyes. It feels like I’ve been here forever.
Soft lips touch mine and my eyes burst open to find a sparkling emerald green pair of eyes staring back at me. He ends the kiss and walks away. I’m still in the water and yet he’s on a beach path already.
“Don’t leave me Sarah. Come find me.” He says giving me that half mischievous smirk that I love. He turns and begins walking away.
