27 - The Pain

Candace I was able to crash for a few hours with no interruptions. That was until I got awakened by the worst, crippling pain in my chest. It felt like somebody was holding a torch against my heart, causing the worst searing pain to spread throughout my entire body. I curled up in a ball on the cold floor and screamed in agony, not knowing what was the cause of the unexpected pain. Hours passed by, and I thought I might die, then the pain finally started to subside. Feeling more exhausted than I had before crashing, I wasn’t able to move from the spot where I was. Instead, I closed my eyes and let the darkness invade every ounce of my being. The next time I awakened, I felt different. Colder if that was even possible, and not colder as in temperature.
