Why was it so hard to concentrate today?
Oh, I know why. My mind was a mess after what Maya said. I was second-guessing myself, and I hated it. Before I found out that Alexander was my mate, I would’ve jumped at the chance to work with Maya. But now? It was impossible to focus.
