It's been two days now since my heat is gone and I was able to leave the room to get some fresh air. Alexander already got some of the pack members to help with the cleanup, which was embarrassing, but there was nothing I could do about it.
"Hey, Selene!" I heard Maya's voice shouting. I grinned when I saw her jogging up to me. "Look who decided to show her face." She teased while pointing at me.
"Oh, come on, my heart was here, and it came at a bad time. Sorry, I couldn't go with you to the job you told me about." She shook her head and grinned.
"It's okay. Jake found out about it and forbade me to work there. I couldn't do anything but obey his orders since he said that he would take care of me from now on." I rolled my eyes at Maya, though I couldn't help the small smil
