I couldn't stop the rage burning through me as I watched that psychopath try to hurt my Selene. My hands were still shaking even as I thanked the stranger for getting it all on video. I couldn't even get the gift that I wanted for Selene. Since this happened, I wasn't in the mood to be here anymore.
"Thank you," I said to the man, giving him my number. "Send me everything you have."
The man nodded, glaring at Lena one more time before walking away. I turned back to her, my jaw tight.
"You're lucky I don't have you arrested right now," I growled.
Lena's face was pale, her eyes wide. For the first time, she looked scared. Good. She should be.
