I took and deep breath before entering the boardroom. I heard everything from outside the door, how Alexander was defending our relationship and how he didn't once deny that we were together. I respected him more now than ever. So I stayed back to gather my courage before opening the door.
No one was here except for Alexander and Dean Marcus. I could see the worry on Marcus's face because of what was said about him not going to them about my relationship with Alexander.
"Come here love," Alexander said, making me smile as I walked over to him.
"I heard everything; you're okay, right?" I asked as I studied his face to make sure that nothing was bothering him too much, even though I could still see the tension in his jaw.
