I was on my way to drop off a file for Marcus when I overheard a group of students whispering near the hallway. I didn’t mean to eavesdrop, but Selene’s name came up, and I stopped walking. They were talking about what happened in the library. My jaw clenched as I listened.
"Did you see what Lena did? She called Selene out in front of everyone. Said she was f*****g Professor Alexander to get ahead."
"Yeah, and Selene totally shut her down. It was wild. Lena was fuming."
I didn’t hear anything else after that. My blood was already boiling. I turned around and walked straight to Marcus's office. I didn’t knock. I opened the door and stepped inside.
Marcus looked up from his desk. "Alexander? Something wrong?"
"We have a problem. It’s Lena. She’s been bullying Selene again.
