I could feel the frustration coming from Selene through our link as I arrived at the pack. I knew something was wrong, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I didn't want to suggest s*x as yet to calm her down, as that would likely only make things worse, and I wasn't in the mood for another argument.
I wasn't sure if her frustration had anything to do with what I did to Derek, but I knew I needed to find a way to help her relax. So, I suggested we train together, something she always enjoyed.
