I got up from the couch and turned to Selene. "I need to address the pack now. I want you to call Maya and tell her to come home. We don’t have time to waste, it doesn't matter what she's doing, she should stop and get here. I should have told her when we were at the university but I was in a hurry to leave."
She nodded and pulled her phone out right away. I walked towards the window, waiting. I could hear her talking to Maya.
"Hey, Maya. Yeah, it’s serious. Can you come home now? Alexander needs to talk to everyone... Okay. Okay, see you soon."
She ended the call and looked over at me. "She’s on her way."
"Good," I said and kissed her forehead. "Let's go then." She nodded and got up.
