Claire POV
The meeting has went on for a couple hours more. I gave my input when I thought it was relevant, but otherwise I let Victor lead the rest of discussion since he was more familiar with the territory's geography. After refining the strategy and agreeing on all the details we wrapped up and everyone went home to prepare for tomorrow.
We were the last to leave because Victor wanted to thank the Alphas individually for joining forces. After the last one of them has left, I stomped away. The fire that erupted inside of me earlier was still raging and I didn't have the opportunity to put baldy back in his place. I walked in the direction of what I thought was the way back to the house before I stopped in my tracks at Victor's voice.
