My heart was pounding inside my chest from how nervous I felt. She just wanted to talk in private, after I found out Claire didn't have any place to stay, I offered her a room in my hotel but we ended up sharing my suite.
"There is some kind of conference, the hotel is fully booked.You can take the bed and I'll sleep on the couch if you don't mind." I suggested separate sleeping arrangement because I didn't want to push my luck.
"It's fine. " She reassured me. "I think I'll take a shower." She declared.
"The bathroom is over there." I pointed at the door near the bed.
She took a couple of steps, then turned around.
"Can I borrow one of your shirts. I'm afraid I didn't pack pajamas." She asked while, She looked so cute with the pink hue on her cheeks.
