We arrived at a richly decorated and beautiful house.
“We can’t go to the royal palace; my father doesn’t agree with… it. But you will be safe and protected here. You have nothing to worry about. I will cast many protection spells and keep guards by the door,” Avalon told me, looking intently into my eyes. His eyes oscillating between grey and green, worry, and warmness visible in them, even though his expression was quite serious.
“Do you need something? Water, food?” Devon asked me, attracting my attention.
“No, I am fine,” I replied.
I was fine and my child was safe now.
“She doesn’t, but I do. I am sooo thirsty! Saving the day can be exhausting!” Shelby exclaimed dramatically.
