They must have followed us into the mystical realm and decided to get in touch with Cadmus. I would be completely befuddled as to why they were in the Dragon Kingdom if I hadn't already known that Sharon was actually Larry and that he had some sort of history with the Dragon Kingdom. They presumably wanted to touch base with the dragons again. Their justifications were beyond my ability to fathom so I decided not to ponder about them.
