At first, I was at a loss for words until Axe started to urge me to tell the truth. Yet, I was anxious… just a little.
"It's now or never dude. She might stop trusting you," he said. He was right. However, my heart thudded frantically in my chest. Though I knew that I must tell her the truth, I wasn't sure how she would react to it. Would she believe me? Or would she try to push me away? Either way, I had to try. Her forehead wrinkled, apparently bewildered.
