I stared into his eyes, “You don’t want your brothers around me.”
He smirked and walked behind me, cycling me while I spoke.
“I’ve seen the way you look at me, and the way you react when they’re close to me,” I continued.
He returned to my other side and whispered in my ears, “So what’s your conclusion?”
I turned around to him, our body’s pressing against each other as I took a deep breath to finish my confrontation, “You’re into me, Zane. Admit it.”
A grin slowly escaped his lips, it wasn’t sinister or scornful. It was much different; I couldn’t tell the emotion behind it.
Suddenly Axel rushed into the house, “There are men in the woods!” he picked up his jacket.
“How many?” Zane walked towards the window.
