I try to be as low key as I can while figuring out what Ethan’s is doing in his business life. I’ve been so preoccupied that I haven’t noticed the number of meetings he’s been going to has gone up in the past few weeks. I haven’t asked about them and he sure hasn’t discussed them with me which he usually does. It leads me to believe that he’s doing something that he doesn’t want anyone knowing about. There’s nothing odd about that. If something is big then I’d want to keep it a little secret too, but I’m not a business partner or colleague so why can’t he at least drop hints for me.
