"So, can you tell me what happened exactly?" Detective Ardent asked me.
I just stared at him.
Where do I even start? Should I tell them about the dead bodies at the lake house? Should I tell them about my father, and his deal with Emilo? Should I flat out admit what I did?
Ben told me not to say anything though...
"We know about the bodies at your boyfriend's lake house." He stated.
My eyes widened. They know about that? Already?
"Do you want to tell me what happened there?" He asked.
The female paramedic looked at my face before going back to hooking me up to IVs.
"Sir. Please refrain from asking questions until the patient has been cleared by a doctor." She said.
