“Here”, mom dropped the bag that I had packed at my feet, I shot my eyes up at her and she gave me a plain unemotional stare
The look on her face told me that she is not the one I need to talk to right now, I turned my gaze back to my father, I know that he is my stepfather, but I hoped that wouldn’t matter as it has never mattered before
“Dad, what is this? What’s going on?” He didn’t answer, he only looked at me with sorrow in his eyes, and when I looked deeper I saw that the blue in his eyes had a hint of relief in them, “talk to me”, I pleaded with him
“Olivia, you don’t belong with us anymore”, he said with a stern voice, trying to pry my fingers away from him
