Hazel turned her body, pushing her shopping cart in another direction, intending to leave and distance herself from Evander. But he blocked her path. "Wait, Hazel!" He held her cart, stopping her. Hazel sighed deeply. "What are you doing? Don't block my way!" she said with a tone of annoyance. Evander fell silent, his eyes filled with a wistful sadness. "I know, I'm sorry!" he said softly. "Forget it! Get out of my way before I put a bullet in your head!" Hazel sneered, yanking the cart away, then walked off. Evander could only stand there, watching her go. Hazel herself let out a deep breath. As she walked away, she roughly wiped her tears. "Come on, Hazel! He's not that important to you!" she muttered, but her tears continued to fall, unstoppable.
