“But what?” I ask Cain as Deni runs out of the kitchen. I resist the urge to go after him. I close my eyes needing a moment to breathe too.
I close my eyes praying for something…anything that will help us.
“Its nothing I’ve ever come across before. I don’t know if I can help on this one. But I’ll try my best. I won’t give up until I find something. I promise.”
I clench my jaw to keep from screaming.
Dammit… my wolf rises feeling my agitation.
Maybe I need to go for run. I promised him a run with his mate this morning anyway.
“Okay, thanks anyway. Let me go and check on Deni, he didt take the news very well,” I say walking out of the kitchen.
“Yeah, sorry man,” Cain says hanging up.
I stuff the phone into my pocket and walk up the stairs, and head straight to our room. B
