I help Nick move Cory to his car. Cory is still in his rogue form but he isn’t violent anymore. He seems to be taken by Nick…sniffing his neck as we both carry him to the car.
“I’ll get you home, love. You will be safe with me,” Nick whisperers to him. He gets into the back of the car along with Cory.
He’ll need to be able to hold him down if something enrages him again.
Mina comes out of the house, carrying an overnight bag stuffed with her clothes. She comes to a stop next to me.
“I’ll come back, alpha, once my brother is settled and he is healed from whatever has affected him,” she says giving me a shy smile. I nod placing my hand on her shoulder. Her loyalty seeps into me, and I know she is my wolf.
