Slowly, I turned, eyes sharp and unflinching. "What else do you have to say Neven? Huh? Because I think the invitation card said everything I needed to know." My tone was razor-edged, calm, but cutting, each word a blade slicing clean through the tension that had lingered in the room for far too long.
