Mark stared at Tony emotionlessly and it sent a shiver down Tony’s spine. Tony was shocked by his own reaction. He’s just a useless, penniless guy. He can’t do anything to me. Why am I scared of him?! What the hell!
Cough. Cough.
He coughed a couple of times to disguise his fear. This isn’t real. I’m not afraid of him. He told himself and again lifted his chin up. “Huh! I’m telling you, Mark Jackson, you have to apologize to me. Get down on your knees now!” He spoke aloud.
Mark glared at Tony silently, yet his eyes were speaking words of threat.
Tony tried to hold Mark’s glare, but he couldn’t help looking away now and then. He found it frightening. Before Mark and Kate reacted, someone spoke clearly from behind them.
“Mr. Jones, aren’t you being disrespectful?”
