We went back to Bronze Ridge after breakfast, and since I am now aware of what I truly am, I plan to ask Victor if I could take a couple of days to visit Shadowmoon Coven. His door to the office was slightly open, so I knocked.
“Do you have a minute?” I asked him.
He looked up and smiled at me. “Sure. Come on in. I am just reviewing a contract, but it can wait. What’s up?”
“I was wondering if I can take a couple of days off to see my family in Windsor.”
“Windsor. You mean Shadowmoon?” I nodded. “That’s fine, but can you stop by Dr. Hayes’s clinic before you leave? Just to make sure the baby is okay,” said Victor.
“Yes. I sent her a message and asked if she could squeeze me in later this afternoon. Erika and I plan to leave tonight.”
“Okay, no worries.”
