Knowing the anger was reasonable walking over, Maxine whispered, “How did you find out?” Camille scoffed as she taunted, “Well not over wine with you after we became friends or as soon as I got here like I should have been when Tabatha brought me on. That’s not how it happened AT ALL.” The two claps at the end of her sentence punctuating the anger of her last two words made both witch’s flinch. Because true, they’d have much rather Camille find out her way. During a girl's night, with Maxine telling her with chocolate-covered strawberries and wine that she was a witch. Or even better it being Tabatha, one of the first people she’d met and had hired her, should have told her. Because telling her what she was getting into seemed to have been in their character, not letting her run around
