Mini
Uncle Kavin was seated in the gazebo having his evening snacks with coffee when we arrived at their place.
"Minmini, how are you?" He smiled at me welcomingly.
"Good uncle. And you?" I felt a bit hesitant to face him worrying that he must be disappointed in me, but if he was, he didn't show anything on his face.
"I'm fine, dear. Go in, your athai and Ithu are waiting for you.." He patted my shoulder to show me in while my dad sat with him for a chat.
"Mini, come in, come in.." My Aunt waved a hand at me from the dining table. She looked like she had just returned from her hospital after a long day at work yet she looked impeccable. She was taking another batch of the hot Vadais to where Uncle Kavin and my dad were.
