Ela My head spun from hanging upside down for so long. I lost count of how many days had passed since we were held captive. My eyes were blindfolded and so were others. I grunted when I felt the electric shock on my back again. In the last few days, we were beaten, given electric shocks, starved, and deprived of all the other basic needs but I endured it all. If there were even a slim chance of escaping this hellhole, I would do everything to get out of there. The only way I overcame the pain and mental trauma was by imagining Mini's beautiful smiling face, the warmth that radiated from her body, and the sandalwood in her scent. Several times I visualized myself in her arms, buried in her depths. It helped me not to beg for death like how Vikas and Amarjeeth were doing beside me. Prem
