I walked out of the bathroom after a shower. My heavily pregnant wife was sprawled in bed where I left her, smiling and rubbing her belly lovingly. She was twelve days past her due date and we were all impatiently waiting for the arrival of our first child. But it seemed to me that our son was in so hurry to leave his mother's womb just yet.
"Hey, little one.." I crouched down on the bed and whispered against Minu's belly, "When are you planning to come out? Amma and appa can't wait to hold you in our arms.."
Mini giggled, "He's already like you. Stubborn and doing things his way.."
