I groaned as I listened to the weather report on the late evening news. I was seated comfortably on the couch with an open box of pizza on the coffee table. I picked up another slice and just as I took a bite, my phone buzzed. I glanced at the screen to see Amy’s name on display. I swallowed hurriedly as I threw the rest of the slice back into the box. I hesitated for a split second before I answered.
