She was standing by the living room window waiting for the boys to come home from school. She’d stopped working for the day, due to having a headache that was so bad she’d not been able to focus on anything at all.
The day outside was quite windy, and the trees were blowing relentlessly with it, which brought dappled light in and out of her office, and it was playing havoc with her, causing her not just dizziness, but an ever-increasing headache. She’d had to pull on her sunglasses and leave the studio to return to the house where the overhang of the veranda stopped a lot of the light play changes that affected her.
