CHAPTER THIRTY ONE Sometimes you see fire and you walk right to it, eyes wide open. Maybe it's the warm orange glow that pulls you towards it, just like a moth to a flame but let's be honest, most of the time, it's because we are stupid. Everyone knows fire burns; whether it's just a flicker, a hearth or perhaps a conflagration; the result is the same: a wound resulting from the burn that leaves pain. So what is it that triggers humans, especially someone like me, to see fire and foolishly choose to walk straight into it?
