Chapter 66
Collins POV
We go to exit the house and I see my sister coming up the drive with Cora and I get excited because I haven’t gotten to see Cora in forever and want to just look at her. But then I saw Cora look over at Ava, and before her mouth even opened, I saw Ava turning around in the circular driveway. My sister, who has a lead foot, is taking off back down the driveway at a pretty good pace. It hurt that Cora was going to tell her to leave, but my sister was already on it, and that held me up a little bit before I registered that she was leaving, and I ran to my car and took off after Ava. It had been 5 miles and I still hadn’t caught sight of Ava at all. Michael and Nicolas have both called me to tell me to slow the hell down, that we lost them and there was no reason
